In this film, The Ol’ Man talks about why we ride motorcycles and what is awesome about it. He also tells a bit of a story about his riding past on his first bike; the Honda ST70 and first 50cc the Yamaha DT50 MX, and his motocross days.
He also wears his cap backwards – get over it lol!
We show a whole range of different motorbikes in this video, with some great audio of riding; Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic, Royal Enfield Interceptor, Harley-Davidson CVO Limited, Triumph Street Twin EC1 Special Edition, Harley-Davidson Street Bob 114, Indian Springfield Dark Horse, Triumph Scrambler XC Goldline, Harley-Davidson Iron 883 with Grenades, KTM Super Duke, Triumph Speed Triple RS, Royal Enfield Continental GT, Harley-Davidson Softail Standard, Husqvarna 701LR Enduro, Triumph T100, Harley-Davidson Street Bob 114 and 107 with some loud slipons V&H Eliminator 300, BMW R 18 1800cc, and that’s it I think! Tell us if we missed any!
This video talks about the advantages of riding motorcycles, such as fuel economy and lane filtering, as well as the great benefits to Mental Health and wellbeing.

Life is only all what happens between one motorcycle ride and the next one

Couldn't agree more. I'm still riding my T120 here in the Northwoods and country roads of Maine, it's October, I'm freezing my ass off but loving every moment. It's therapy for me brother, I'll stop when I'm dead.

Loving the shots of you riding in Wales, my home country. Take a trip to the Elan Valley dams and Cwmystwyth if you haven't already! Great vid

I ride for pretty much the same reasons you pointed out here in your video. And I think, since I'm cruiser type of guy (I own an old, but faithful, Harley Softail Deuce), I ride in the same fashion as you do. I mean, I ride not too much over the legal speed limits on the roads, I ride for the apreciation of the experience itself, for the sense of conection with the machine that is almost a "living beast" (I liked very much such image you brought) as I form with it a kind of "mechanocentaur". I ride for the love of that exciting feeling provided by the might low end torque that just keeps pushing foward as I work trough the gears. I ride for the love of to be exposed to all those enviromental conditions you described so well, plus the smells I can feel cruising down the countryside, or through a winding road betwin the woods. I ride because it clears my mind in a almost zen(ish) way. I ride for that sense of freedom that you talked about and that can not be achieved in other ways. And I ride because it is fun! Thus, despite the fact that I am almost 50 years old and my motorcycle has 1450cc and weights more than 300kg, every time I am astride its saddle it's like I'm aquinted to the toddler I once was and who loved to ride his velocipede and such emotion is unmatched.

All the best from Brazil. ✌

I ride for stress relief and my mental health. The world has gone nuts with inflation, green energy crap and woke ideology. Ride a motorcycle is my escape and coping mechanism.

Every single video of yours is always classy. Also adding shots of the farm animals and churches are neat too.

I drive because I can't change room every time my wife decides to clean the one where I am …..

Absolutely spot on old pal. Everything you said resonated so deeply with me. You listed so eloquently the very reasons why I ride motorcycles.
    Can add no more.
    Thank you

    Motorcycling saved my life.

In 2020 I lost my job and subsequently lost my will to live. After 20 years saving lives I suddenly found myself wondering who would save mine.

Despite my family, friends and former colleagues rallying round me I couldn’t escape the thoughts of taking my own life.

One day my best friend and some of my former colleagues suggested we take a mini tour of Wales on our motorcycles. The weather was wet and cold but I found the ride to be a huge distraction from my worries.

When riding you can only concentrate on the next bend and so I found time away from my worries.

We went on to tour Scotland and later Dorset and Devon and gradually I began to feel better.

Today I have a new career, my legal case against my former employer will be heard in a few weeks time, and I once again feel optimistic about my future.

Thanks for all those excellent motorcycling videos, thanks to wider biking community and thank you to my family, friends and those former colleagues who have been there for me.

    Motorcycling saved my life.
