What is Ecrew? When I had to uproot and move to Indiana, there was a car community called Bcrew (B for Bloomington, Indiana). These guys became my family. Instead of partying on the weekends, I was working on cars- and I loved it. Since starting youtube, I have started what I call Ecrew. It’s a community where you get to take 10min out of your day and be involved in a build, but more importantly it’s a family.

I only recently found your channel. I have a 2016 Corvette Stingray that I'm about to start modifying. Nothing outrageous, just some engine mods and carbon fiber trim.
But the main reason I am commenting (which I very rarely do) is because of the attention you are bringing to mental health. On August 30th I attempted to take my life. I won't bore you with all the details, but I did it because I've been in the deepest depression of my life for a year. In fact it was on the one year anniversary of the event that triggered a mild depression after my heart was broken. Yes, I was in love. She said she loved me and wanted to marry me, but just three days after she made me the happiest man in the world by telling me she wanted to marry me, she suddenly ended it for no reason and would not even speak to me. I still have no idea what happened.
I had already lost my older sister just a few months before all of this happened. It was made worse because I was with her when she unexpectedly collapsed and died. I tried to do CPR, but she just wouldn't respond. Then the breakup and ghosting came a few months later. Then in January of this year my father passed away. His health went downhill fast after my sister died. Then my Aunt on my mother's side passed away a few weeks later from Covid. And then my uncle on my Dad's side passed away in April. The depression just kept getting worse and worse. All the regular things I did to pull myself up and go on were no longer working. I'm still struggling and trying to adjust my outlook in life, but it's so damn hard to once you start that downward spiral.
Thank you for your boldness! Thank you for bringing mental health to the forefront. That's the only way we'll be able to stop the negativity associated with mental health!
