Good advice Pierre. I find breaking any problem down into smaller segments helps a lot. The 6.3 restoration I'm working on is involved, but not biting off too much at once, keeps me not only sane, but it's much more enjoyable. All journeys require the first step, after that just keep going 🙂

I totally agree with you, Pierre. As a retiree, my classic Mercedes keeps me busy troubleshooting and solving problems. It is especially fun since I am NOT a mechanic. I feel truly blessed to have your videos as a reference and when I am stumped you always nudge me in the right direction when I contact you.

I seem to get the rarer problems, like the bad hot start that wasn't the injectors, pump check valves or accumulator, it was the pressure regulator -_-
Having an old w123 with a hood stack will improve it even more!
