What a cool story! Genora Johnson and the governor who sided with the union are true heros! I'd love to see things like this happen nowadays.

    Socialism then
“I just built 88 cars in one hour getting paid 2¢ this isn’t fair”
    Socialism now
“I’ve been standing at a register on my phone and Im only making $15 an hour the system is broken”

You guys should research a little more and you will see that unions were the force behind:
    -standard work week
-fair wages curbing sexism/racism in workplaces
    -workplace safety
    -emergance of the middle class

Non unionized workplaces also reap these benefits when employers fear formation of a union
