3 times in my life I was able to walk or ride a bicycle to work and not have to deal with a car. It was pure heaven. I will NEVER UNDERSTAND the love affair people have with cars. They're expensive to buy, insure, maintain, register, FEED and sometimes park. Part of being poor or broke is sitting in the driveway. It's like a whore you keep paying for but get little from.

I was at my grandson basketball game and after it was over we went to the parking lot and it reeked of car fumes . I hope someday little kids don't have to breath that crap . The sooner the better .

Fyi for those of you show think "oh i can just charge my Tesla with solar!" You're dreaming. You'd need 68x375W panels which are 2M long each…. Then you'd need a $15K battery unless you plan to charge it during the day… That alone is $25KAUD… Assuming full sun days every day…even with all of that the entire days solar charge will be consumed if you charge from empty… Meaning your solar will do nothing for the house….. It's not viable and never will be because most houses can't even fit half this amount of solar on their roof!
