    Those swap-out battery deals could work really well for fleet vehicles like taxis if you had a fully compatible standardized fleet of vehicles. I remember reading about someone trying it in Asia quite a while ago.

    I thought is was Japan but perhaps it was China.

    GM's baseline is low, and how much lower is in the negative double digits on a scale from one to ten plus. My question is would I rather have an electric Hyundai over a gasoline GM. In this case I'd rather have the electric car. And that's coming from a guy who sees electrification way too early for me to pay money on even used. I remember as a kid in the 80s GM has to "get it right". Well over the past 35+ years they haven't and in the meantime new car manufacturers are out performing them on reliable cars much less Ford but they're cars suck only their trucks are good. What is happening with American automobiles. No wonder Toyotas and Hondas are better.
