They're NOT paying auto workers "less and less." They have to work within the UAW agreement for wages and benefits. Instead, what's being done is the assembly lines are becoming more automated so they're reducing the number of workers needed through the use of automation.
Scotty keeps a spear cat head part on the shelf, apparently for easy access, just in case he needs replace one.
I can charge my Model 3 at a supercharger for $2-$3, and it only takes ~20 minutes. All my non-road trip charging is done at home or at work, entirely for free. Battery swap is not even remotely practical for the majority of electric cars.

Electric vehicles are a complete joke. One of the worst ideas anyone ever came up with. The batteries will be a real disaster when they try to force everyone to use those pieces of trash.
If it costs $100 to Fill a Cars Gas Tank, Charge $100 to Change out the Battery, as long as it gets the same Distance as a GPV… If a Truck takes $150 to Fill, Charge $150 to Change out. Simple.
