I still drive a car older than I am. So much shit in cars now that is computerized that has no business being computerized. I don't need a computer for my door locks, window controls, wipers. defrosters. Some cars now have a computer on the god damn cigarette lighter. All this computer shit breaks down and when it does, something like a rear window wiper computer malfunction can cause your car to run like shit or even make it unable to start. So stupid.

@Ms. Heather: "…Please Mrs. Avery, I just want to talk to her, I'll only keep her a while…"
A blast from the past. I forget who sang it, maybe Dr. Hook? 1970 or '71…

Are jurors serving at trials going to accept all of this technological evidence at face value? Seems like there is more than a small chance some lying law enforcement and investigative officers can simply cook up incriminating evidence against someone. Who can possibly corroborate the information without first having vast sums of money to spend and not to mention the data could be planted. This gives pause to remember to not believe everything you hear and only half of what you see.

With all the advances in technology, why can't the police during a car chase, jam the car computer system to stop it? I think that would deter criminals from trying to flee by car

Have a car accident, and find out that the status of the brake pedal in the last 5 seconds, the speeds in the last 5 seconds, how fast the car was going when the airbag deployed, whether the front seat belts were being worn, whether the front passenger is over a certain weight, whether the doors of the car were open, the direction of the steering wheel at the time of impact, and whether the headlights were on, can all be discovered from the airbag module. The infotainment system can also tell whether you were using the bluetooth and speaking on the phone.
