Harley Davidson can go pound sand. They are forgetting who they are and where they they came from.
Spirit is in the rider not what the company tells us. I have been a rider for 45 years. I have been riding Harley for 37 years. I have had my current Road-glide a 2003 Gunmetal pearl for 18 years. I did a complete rebuild $6500 dollars because of bad cam bearing and 30 thousand mile later I I spent $8000 for a complete crate motor because the cam bearing failed again. I had a crash in 2002 because of a bagger wobble that nearly killed me. I sued the factory and collected. They treated me horribly. The dealerships treated me badly on the rebuild and the new motor. I tried to buy a new bike and the salesmen at the dealership twice treated me like crap. so after 37 years on a Harley I put my bike new motor and transmission $10,000 and all up for sale I am going to buy and Indian Challenger because they seem to care about attracting customers and building their brand. Harley has lost focus and is trying to hard to attract an age group that doesn't have an interest in motorcycles unless they are sport bikes.
