The problem with all of that is that apparently pilots do not value their time. If they did value their time, they would demand proper pay for their time.

Great video! Hell I'm 61 years old and looking forward to my solo flight! It looks like that is coming up this month. Your channel has been a great help. I fly out of Rhode Island. KSFZ Hope to see you some day.

Seems like the whole issue started by having to commute…I personally have never understood what the issue is with getting a small, cheap (and probably crappy) apartment across the street from the base airport, or at least really close by. Walk to work if able to save gas, and insurance money. Get there early to account for any kind of delays. The night before, prepare some light and easy snacks to bring with you on flights. Save money wherever you can for a while. These are sacrifices to make to get to a major airline one day and make some pretty good money and live a more ā€œnormalā€ life in a nice house, with a nice car. I know of many that have done it, and don’t regret a single bit of it. This advice is coming straight from them. If your reasoning for leaving is simply and truly because you enjoy flight instructing more, then absolutely go for it. If you’re doing it because you hate the airline lifestyle, there’s many things you can do to improve that or help deal with it while you’re on your way up and out of the regionals.

The worst thing a pilot can say is ā€œI love to fly this is why I do thisā€. Bean counters love to hear this so they can do what they did to you and thousands of active airline pilots.

Get a permanent cure for this, using Dr. Gbenga herbal medicine, I was cured from tinnitus since Feb 11, 2013.

INSPIRING! My dream came true at 50 years old. Found a 1/4 ownership in 182 skylane coincidentally the same age as myself. We’re both 63. Is a sweetheart. Come to KDTN when you’re down in Louisiana. Keep up the greatVideos. Thank you. Thank you.
