I’m 45 too and started college for private pilot ground school in 2019 and dropped then came back in 2021 and thinking about dropping again. I’m not sure if I’m being realistic with all this considering my age, zero hours, cost, experience and ultimate goal of becoming a cargo pilot. 🙁

I'm active duty military with a wife, and I wanna thank you for making this video. I'm heavily considering working as an airline pilot, but the more I read about the lifestyle, the more overwhelming it seems. I already work on jets, and I want a hands-on job that will pay well and let me travel and drive all kinds of crazy vehicles. Looking at UND to cover my CFI and stuff, but I appreciate how real this video is. I really want a family and I don't want to not be there for them and suffer from sleepless nights every night just to follow my passion.
