What is "triple figures?" 100,000 CAD?
It's a great job, if you want to waste your time and life at a job that can fire you the first month you don't meet the quota. Tired and ready to quit so give two weeks notice? Nah, just leave now. Pay you a percentage of new car profit? Nah, just a $100 bonus. Pay you a percentage of back-end (finance) profit? Even though YOU sold it to the customer, NOPE. Customer bought a certified pre-owned vehicle which comes with an extended warranty? Let's sell the customer ANOTHER warranty in finance that covers the same thing. Can't get the customer approved with their 2k down? Lets get them to sign all the paperwork and call them back in a month later, and request another 2k down since the reality was they NEEDED a total of 4k down to get approved. Desk pushes you to bring customers in and close sales, but when THEY deal with a customer, it's OKAY to let them walk since they care more about "customer service"…. Do i need to say more? I got plenty of stories myself, the REAL reality. Unless you are favored among management, they spoon you sales, help you reach the bonuses, then really just don't get into it unless you need some quick checks before they realize you aren't trying to sell anything
