The Ol’ Man takes the lovely 2023 Limited edition Triumph Speedmaster Bonneville 1200cc Chrome Edition motorbike for a ride in the picturesque Welsh countryside and talks about some BIG CHANGES for life and the Channel, and some updates and forthcoming videos:

Coming soon are the Harley-Davidson Breakout 117 Review and the Harley-Davidson Street Bob 114 Review, but before that, a really interesting comparison between 3 heavyweight cruisers; the BMW R 18, the two Harleys mentioned and the Triumph Speedmaster in this video, AND a new look at the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650!

I've been living in Barcelona since 1990. I ride a Triumph Bonneville T120. You'll definitely like the weather. In fact it really needs to rain here – hasn't rained for months! What part of Spain are you heading for?

Imagine getting up everyday and the weather is hot everyday. We have a heatwave here for a week and everybody grinds to a halt 😅.

Congrats on the move! Looking forward to future reviews, your laid back style is both entertaining & informative. Funny how the biker community of renters out class & have generally more common sense when it comes to other people's property!😁👍

Check on the income tax rate you’ll pay on your rental income, your pension entitlements in the UK system and also any healthcare you might lose, and then there’s the potential tax on all your property if you should die in Spain. Happy days and good luck!

Exciting future plans. Looking forward to seeing you ride around Spain, living the good life. I live in the American southwest whether it rarely rains, probably a bit like parts of Spain.

Choose some better roads that is all I can say

I thought you was going to say something stupid like your moving to Cornwall for better weather. Spain should be a beauty. I want to get out again however it’s been torrential rain here in Cornwall for the past two days. But the rain is getting warmer.

I live very close to the area you are moving to half the year and in southern US the rest. Bunch of friends have bikes and as you know the riding is great with no traffic outside of a few streets in Marbella and on the A7 sometimes. A lot of main dealers in Marbella too which is good plus some really large stores in Malaga. Ping me if you need anything or any questions about living in this area, whether or not to re-register bikes etc. Its kind of a minefield specifically with Harleys and customs if you want to re register and take Spanish ITV. They also just extended another 6 months the option to flip your license to a Spanish one without taking a test. Also all the major insurance companies will insure whether you stay on British registration or move over to Spainish plates no matter which license you keep.
