On Sunday 27th September I am joining Captain Rambunctious and Phil480 for a social distanced Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride to help raise awareness about prostate cancer and men’s mental health on behalf of Movember. It would be awesome if you could sponsor me, but please don’t feel obliged to do so.

I recently got some Pirelli Phantom Sportcomp tyres to replace the tires on my Moto Guzzi V7. As standard it comes fitted with Pirelli Sport Demons, and although they are not the best, I have stuck with them up until now. My garage has no room in it so I too the bike over to T Northeast in Horley. I prefer to support the smaller shops over the main dealerships mostly.
The helmet setup I was using in this video was my Davida open face helmet and the GoPro Hero 8 with Media Mod fitted, just using the rear internal mic. It worked ok, but I am not sure I will use the setup for the DGR. If you know a better way of getting voice audio with an open face helmet, please let me know?

Sorry Pete for not commenting π.
I think itβs a great idea to use the 360 π . Hope you fix the sound.
That bike man. Amazing. High in the mix like, which is no bad thing, just harder to hear you is all. I always wondered how open face helmets work for vlogging. Think the 360 would be a great option, for the obvious normal reasons, maybe a mount to the bike somehow to keep it off your lid?
Most recent Tyres are Battleax BT023 FYI lol
How's the new rubber thingymajigamytings?…………..π
I like Avon Road Riders on my squadron of Moto Guzzis. Plenty good enough for my LeMans 2 & Monza, at Mallory.
New tyres are always great π the cam angle to me was grand in this one, a 360 cam would be very cool to use in a big ride out like that. Would a big boom mic like is used in open faced coms setups help smooth the audio out for this application?
