CW/TW:

Today’s video tackles a very serious topic and very serious allegations being made against Tesla, some of its employees and its management. It centres around a civil court case filed by the Department of Fair Employment and Housing in the state of California against Tesla and fifty defendants at the company. In discussing the court case and the several years of investigation which led to it, we will be discussing racism in the workplace, including the allegations of widespread use of racial slurs, racist imagery and racist graffiti, in addition to the allegedy overtly racially-motivated discrimination in the work place by the defendents against black and/or African American employees and contractors at Tesla’s various Californian facilities.

To properly cover this, portions of filed court papers containing examples of all of the above will be shared in this video. Those of you watching with younger audience members may wish to review this content first.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Hopefully some day soon other media voices will follow the example of Transport Evolved in fearlessly and meticulously addressing such critical issues. If we are to transition to a sustainable society we must leave behind not only fossil fuels but also the deadly prejudices and discrimination cemented into the bedrock of industrial society.

see guys just like i told you a few weeks ago (but remember you guys "pissed, moaned" and got DEFENSIVE when this was brought to your attention) whether it's being slapped with a Wrongful Death suit…? or a suit regarding Workplace Discrimination…? Tesla can be sued for ANYTHING at ANY MOMENT. yeah they are NOT EXEMPT from prosecution and any case brought against them will NOT get "magically blocked" at the Courthouse doors (damn sure not one filed by 5 Texas Police Officers over FSD). by the way, that previous discrimination case lost in San Francisco back October of '21 to the tune of $137 Million, the gentlemen's name was Owen Diaz. to further drive my point home, 3 days ago (Feb 15, 2022) firearms maker Remington just settled a lawsuit for $73 Million brought against them by the families of the Sandy Hook School Elementary Massacre circa 2012. so with that, the argument that a manufacturer DOESN'T have a degree of Liability (even 10 years later) for how their products get used/misused by consumers when they're out in public (ya know, alongside the rest of us good citizens and our loved ones) officially GOES DOWN IN FLAMES.

NEXT TOPIC: Elon's tweet (deleted) associating Canadian PM Trudeau with Hitler and the Holocaust. anybody paying attention to the last 75 years of History knows this is a HOT BUTTON TOPIC (at least here in 'Murica) and it's one – good or bad – that you don't cross. in fact didn't Whoopi Goldberg or somebody just GET SUSPENDED last week from their talk show for some "off color" words related to this…? wake up Fanboys, as you continue to "bump up against the hard wall of reality" regarding the ERRATIC BEHAVIOR of Musk as CEO, you're going to have to make the TOUGH CHOICE as shareholders to vote his dumbass out. ironic that the man everyone credits for the RISE company, will be the man who SINKS the company.

I appreciate your efforts to be impartial about the absolutely unacceptable behaviour that has been alleged for which, if true, Tesla must be held fully accountable. At the same time it's worth noting the finest democracy money can buy has equally affordable regulatory authorities all of which, along with the similarly affordable mainstream media, are largely owned by people with a massive vested interest in the status quo.
It's not yet time to make a decision on who is doing what to whom.

I am from where Elon Musk was born. A country where racism was perfected. His family left here because of it. To hear that he is allowing it in his own factory is disheartening.

Thank you for bringing it up in a fair well considered manner. Kudos to you and your team for such bravery.
