CW/TW:

Today’s video tackles a very serious topic and very serious allegations being made against Tesla, some of its employees and its management. It centres around a civil court case filed by the Department of Fair Employment and Housing in the state of California against Tesla and fifty defendants at the company. In discussing the court case and the several years of investigation which led to it, we will be discussing racism in the workplace, including the allegations of widespread use of racial slurs, racist imagery and racist graffiti, in addition to the allegedy overtly racially-motivated discrimination in the work place by the defendents against black and/or African American employees and contractors at Tesla’s various Californian facilities.

To properly cover this, portions of filed court papers containing examples of all of the above will be shared in this video. Those of you watching with younger audience members may wish to review this content first.

My friend informed me about the racist tendency at TESLA. I just by coincidence found this report. I hold Elon responsible for allowing this kind of corporate culture to thrive, this report is highly disappointing but not surprising considering American work history and the triumph of Trumpism. I will not buy a Tesla product because of this report

Very thorough coverage 👏. Tesla does so much that's great. In this case with lots of engineers, we know data does not lie. Crunch the numbers and what it is, is what is.

Immediate follow for the fact you’re focusing on this topic. Bravo! 👏🏻

  5. Kris Vandermeulen

As always a small group of racists are to blame but if they are not removed quick enough, the entire company gets to blame.

Bravo, that was the very definition of excellent journalism. People are what they show you and Mr. Musk's comments sounds complacent. As we know, complacency is complicity. Excellent job team transport evolved!

This piece seems to be already sided with the prosecution. TSLA has had to defend false allegations in the past and when the facts were presented, TSLA was cleared. I believe California is pissed that TSLA Moved their corporate headquarters out of the state and is looking for some revenge. Look how the Biden administration has not recognized TESLA for their contribution to the EV market. Biden congratulated GM for being the leader in the EV race. GM produced 24 EVs in Q-4.
Warning: if you are not going to cooperate with the Government you better be ready for a fight!! Stay the course Elon!

It looks like there is problems on the horizon for Tesla…. Discrimination, Musks last tweet about Justin Trudeou. Anti Union sentiment. Down playing Germanys laws and regulations.
Great work on talking about this serious issue. It makes happy to hear about your zero tolerance for discrimination. Keep up the good work.

Thank you. This is truly fair and good reporting on a difficult and contentious subject.

I have to really commend the TE journalistic team for their reporting on this topic. I subscribe to many tech and EV YouTube sites, who happily report the minutiae of Tesla from a tech or vehicular standpoint, but have been ominously and conspicuously silent on this matter, or worse, dismissive of the allegations. I find it egregiously worse in the case of the large tech and EV sites, there is no way they are unaware of these cases.

    Keep up the great work!
