TOUCHDOWN LOS ANGELES! Collecting My Zenvo TSR-S at LAX

We’re here, it’s time to take on Los Angeles with my Zenvo TSR-S! An adventurous and very long day, takes us from The Shmuseum all the way to Beverley Hills ready for Monterey Car Week ahead. First up, a stop at the LAX cargo terminal to pick up the Shmeemobile!

It’s been quite the journey all the way across the world, and a day that ended up being around 27 hours long, but what an unreal feeling to drive my car in California! We kick off from The Shmuseum saying farewell to the rest of the garage for a few weeks, and getting over to London Heathrow airport to follow the journey of the Zenvo, having dropped it off for loading about 10 days prior.

Along the way, the car had a few flight delays, but all the stops were pulled out by everyone involved to make sure it got to the other end on time, and on time it is! In fact, it’s had a mammoth 2,000 mile journey from where it was spotted at Chicago O’Hare ORD all the way to being ready to unpack at Los Angeles LAX.

Straight from the warehouse, we’re on the road to go and visit Hagerty Garage + Social, a new facility mixing car storage with a social venue and media hub, and right now with plenty of the cars that are heading to the Broad Arrow auction at Car Week; including a Lamborghini Reventon, Ferrari F50, Ferrari 288 GTO and plenty more amazing cars around.

Thankfully the guys there kindly help to give the TSR-S a quick rinse down to clean off the travel dust ready for a very late night pop by Rodeo Drive, following in the footsteps of the Ford GT, Shelby GT500 and AMG GT Black Series that have been there before.
