Sissy bar got it's name from it's origins. Back when bikes were becoming prominent in the US, they were ridden by guys in gangs. Those gangs didn't have members, they had brothers. You didn't just join a biker gang, you became a brother.
So, what would you call your brother's girl? A sister. And when you are riding with your girl on the back, she needed something to keep her from falling off on long trips, so they added padded backrests to the rear fenders. Since the "brother" had the handle bars to hold on to, the "sister" had the backrest, which became lovingly known as the "sissy bar".
Plot twist….. Cycle Cruiza is white and DDFM is black.
Motojitsu is the mannnn
My 4 soon to be 5 year old son, as soon as he didn't only want to crash on turns in racing games or real life on his bike was allowed to come with me to town on the rebel 500 after lots of practice. We've even worked out give me 2 head butts in the back if need a stop. My 9 year old daughter sits full still locked in and is a pro now. Loves taking a tour with me. Just takes rules and communication for kids the same. Don't forget all the gear…
Really enjoying the videos man, and I truly appreciate that when you make them you are either in a residential area or a parking lot shows that you actually want to teach and not just get views and likes. Thanks again 👍🏻
good tips about the riding position(s) on the bike.
however , if you have a kid that is under 2//3 rd the height of you, then they ride in-front of you.
awesome video !!

Kid vid would be great, mine is 13 and one fixing to be 10. 13 y/o went out with me for the first time the other day. I had so many thoughts and what if's along the way.. Way different than an adult passenger, thanks!
