In a recent video MOOG constructed a quick, simple, do-it-yourself garage creeper project. The internet had a lot to say about ‘features’ that they would put on a creeper if it was to make one, only it didn’t make one. So in this episode we attempt to right all the wrong as we piece together (over engineer) an all new garage creeper, affectionately known as ‘The Marty’.

Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you how we’ve gone about it, but we can’t promise that anything we show you will work for your particular car, or that you won’t harm yourself, someone else, your car or your warranty doing it. Please be safe, be responsible and unless you know what you’re doing, do not fool around with very serious machinery just because you’ve seen us make it look so easy. Talk to a qualified mechanic if you are in any doubt.

Take a shot of your favorite beverage every time they say “features”

Will this fit on my honda?
They should do a more realistic luxury creeper Mark II.
Like less ghetto and more likeable lol. This was fun though!
-Put one of those store bought massage mats that you put on chairs and use that as the padding. Keep it plugged in the whole time to get a massage while working
-Add one or two adjustable arms, one with a light and a fan. I'd recommend an area light and a beam light so you pretty much get the whole shebang without having to adjust it a lot.
-Just attach a thin power strip to it and attach a high end legit portable battery that has 3-prong outlets on it.
-How about instead of drinking with a straw, just get rid of the straw. You can take a break and waterfall from the can. You already don't have to get up just to take a drink anyways. I would recommend some sort of lid for your drinks though, a lot of dirt and grime will definitely get into even a small opening. Even aluminum cans have reusable lids you can buy that add an easy open/close feature.
-If we could go through the supports at the wheel mounting points so that they can add bigger wheels or just allow a lower ride it would be possible but I never use these things to tell you if it's important.
-A horizontal bar parallel to the creeper where you can have a roll of shop towels, or a spot for a small box of cloths.
-If possible, a pull-out tray underneath the creeper in an easy to reach spot. This is where your most common wrenches, bits, and sockets can go in case you forgot one so you won't have to roll out, get up, and grab it, and hopefully not mistakenly grabbed the wrong one when you get back under your project. Just put magnetic parts trays down there with all these metal pieces stuck to it so you can just grab the whole magnetic tray to look at each one with ease and not worry about them rolling around in a drawer or something
-I don't know how no one thought of a magnetic parts tray being attached to this. Heck, add another adjustable arm to keep it closer to view, or just unstick it and attach it to the bottom of whatever car you are working on, just don't forget to remove it when you leave.
Y'know what… that move of paying out retail price to charity and explaining "we aren't sponsored by ryobi… respect!
For anyone who is into ganking ryobi bits for other stuff. Yes, im an addict, got hooked, but dem batteries. Cheapest option, wee torch, n fits an alibaba 5a stepdown inside it. Some screw terminals on the side. Bam, uni 12v supply! And, its got a torch! I use my ryobi batts to run my potable ham radio rig. Not the very best setup ever, but impossible to beat in handy-dandyness. Haxxin your ryobi kit, 8/10 stars, would reccomend.
no shit though that thing is sick
You should have put the hose in between the boards of wood, blocked the ends off and put a bunch of holes facing up to cool your whole body.
Talks about a possible sponser with Ryobi.
Proceeds to say their vacuum sucks.
