When they say not to jumpstart the 458 they're mainly talking about jumpstarting them with another vehicle. Which jumpstarting any vehicle with another vehicle can cause damage to certain things like the voltage regulator or even the ECU. When you're hooking up jumper cables and it causes an ark it can damage electronics. When you're hooking up jumper cables to another battery you are connecting two open electrical currents together, but with a jump box, it is turned off when you're hooking it up so it's not an open current so it won't ark, If that makes sense. So always make sure the jump box is off before hooking and unhooking it.
Why destroy a nice 458 with this terrible body kit.
