He was a psychopath, they’re born like that, not made. He would have turned out like that no matter how the parents acted. Stop blaming other people. There is only ONE person to blame, ONE person who made those choices, and ONE person who did all of those horrible things, and that was him. Put the blame where it’s meant to be, and stop thinking a Netflix show is all facts. There’s always dramatized things in those shows that didn’t happen in real life. Just stick to the proven, hard facts; he did it, he’s to blame. At least the mom wanted scientists to study his brain to find out more about it. Psychopathy is genetic/inherited, there was nothing the parents could have done to make him not become a psychopath, without going back in time and not have a baby.
I don't think it's weird at all. I don't understand why people in the comments find this odd. It would be interesting to see what type of brain someone like Jeffrey Dahmer has.

Don’t think it was an odd request! It was odd for the father not to allow it! Just like you have to test the brain for CTE! Not condoning what Dahmer did but something had to be wrong mentally!
Regardless of what you've done your funeral wishes should be followed. Let the dead rest. Preserving his brain wouldn't have changed anything for the victims or their families.
