Great to have the News back and on "permission to Torque" great idea as i have had my issues and getting out on the bike really helped me, as well as gentle exercise and then just doing what I have put off so many times. well done guys
I cannot even tell you how great this video is. It's so reassuring, as the permission to torque stickers will be, to know that others are going through this. We've all got to be here for each other, fuck the stiff-upper lip. I'm here to torque, as I know many others will be. Thanks 44Teeth.
Well done Chris.
It takes a huge amount of courage to open up about your personal mental health.
I've struggled for years, whilst never being in need of medication, but have had a few people in my life who have seen the signs and have been willing to provide a metaphorical "arm around the shoulders" whereby I can express my worries and emotions when things haven't been going well.
Now, with strategies in place and a close knit group of mates around me offering support I find myself in the position where I can "pay it back" by offering my own support to others closer to the beginning of their own journeys to find a happier, stable place. It's tough, both for the individual suffering and for those offering support, but it's hugely rewarding to see someone turn their life around primarily through the power of talking, listening and not judging.
Keep up the good work.
Totally feel this. Have had a few episodes. Andy’s Man Club in the UK is also VERY good if you want to speak out in a safe place and have coffee and biscuits.
Chris I can’t tell you how much that meant…… I’ve been struggling myself for years and it’s only been through my faith and my wife that I haven’t blown my brains out. Thanks for an awesome episode lads. So real and heartfelt. The past two years have been devastating and I believe governments will be held accountable for the damage they have done to all generations they’ve impacted throughout this bullshit pandemic.
I too am on the “fringes” of this because of my views and reluctance to put an untested drug into myself and man alive has that been hard on so many levels! Descrimination, victimisations, “othering” have all smashed me, just because I made my own choice.
I think your idea is brilliant. It’s a great way to initiate conversations with those needing to talk.
God bless mate! Always remember the light of joy and peace and that light always overcomes dark.
Be strong. #permissiontotorque
Great work. Deeply personal and relevant conversation there lads. It’s something that a lot more than three percent of us are dealing with…. Better restock the Permission to Torque stickers. Cheers.
Outstanding, love it, you you guys🤗🤗
I think permission to torque merch would be an amazing way to raise money for mental health charities or group events
Thank you for talking about this. My experience of this last year has mirrored yours. I’m pushing through but hearing you talk about it helps.
I think there might be some misunderstanding about the 'stop oil campaign'. Not that I agree with how they are going about it (glueing body parts to tarmac) but I think like many of these environmental campaigns or protests, their branding and image is completely misleading, meaning the integrity of their argument is lost and seen as a joke. The oil guys for example are protesting against the governments continued investment into building new oil rigs after they set out plans to phase it out, I think that is something alot of people can get behind but there message of 'just stop oil' implies something completely different and as you guys have said, ignores any kind of reality. I think these protests would be taken far more seriously if they used less of the 'catchy slogans' which clearly arnt working.
