CoVid 19 impacts on women: 1.Domestic violence has dramatically and drastically increased from 25percent to 300percent 2.Internet searches related to the support for domestic violence victims has increased 3.Mortality of the victims has deliberately increased 4.Lots of miscarriages are happening due to lack of monthly checkup and awarness 5.Sexual harrasment of girls and early pregnancy 6.Early marriages due to lockdown 7,Work pressure at homes.Women do 3times more work than men and 70percent are engaged in health and social work 8.less leisure time due to full time presence of all the members 9.Stress and anxiety due to dual work load:one of the household and another of the offices being run through work from home initiative 10.Pregnant women were told to have a test for covid 19 but they were not told as to where and in what circumstances the tests will be done 11.There were no additional cash incentives provided to the pregnant and lactating mothers
REASONS FOR IMPACTS ON WOMEN 1.deplorable heath condition due to which they are vulnerable to the attacks from their husbands or other family members 2.Lack of financial stability.They are not financially stable due to which they have to ask money from their husbands..which gives them the opportunity to harass them 3.Fear of losing jobs.people are tensed about their jobs and in such situation a vulnerable women falls prey to the tensed mind of her husband 4.Forced marriages 5.Early marriages
WAY FORWARD 1.proper health care facility and mental care facility should be provided to the victims 2.financial aids such as loans should be provided to them so that they can start up a business 3.Awarness should be made that the crime if caught is punishable 4.Compulsory education should be provided so that the victim has a knowledge of her rights
CONCLUSION:It can be said that women are the worst affected by the lockdown and CoVid 19.So proper initiatives needs to be taken for their betterment
