I feel like it’ll be easier for inexperienced riders to not grab the clutch and let the bike do some engine braking that’s just me

  2. Tyler Rupe

My Msf coach explained it as grab the baby bird gently then crush it lol

  3. O r c

So on emergency should I brake first foot brake or hand brake first ?

  4. NINedStark

so if im on 3 gear and i need to do a emergency break, i need to downshift to frist gear before clutch + breaks?

  5. V LOG

    how about semi authomatic motorcycle
    like honda wave 110

  6. Bram Slootmans

Just out of curiosity, don’t you folks have this information in your motorcycle lessons in the US?

  7. Stoogie

to even apply to your L's in Australia u need to go above 13mph and react and break within 2.8 meters…… i failed it at 3.7(due to holding front instead of full gradual lock, due to back locking up, bad habit) but i only have like 2 hours riding experience .. 🙁

  8. Tsubaki13

Does this apply to bikes without ABS?

  9. Mike's Bike's

Okay seems you over emphasizing the front brake. So what is the correct pressure on rear to front brake 50 50? I say 70 rear 30 front. Your not factoring in road conditions in this drill . A debris surface with a front brake spells disaster. ?????

During emergency braking, do not clutch in before or during braking. Just close throttle as you squeeze the brake lever. Depending on situation, if you are going to come to a full stop, leave the clutch, when you close throttle, the engine brake will help slow down the bike. If you need keep moving, clutch in just before the engine stall.
