Tally Bally Ho!

Finally, I have managed to put my edit together of this year’s Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride – Oxford 2021.

I hope you enjoy watching this and thinking about the issues raised. Until next time…

Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men. 307,000 men will die from prostate cancer each year.

Suicide is the biggest killer of men aged 20 – 39, with 75% of all suicides being male.
510,000 men die from suicide each year, that’s one every minute.

These are numbers that we seek to drastically change and can only be made possible through the generosity of people like you who answer the call to make this world a better place.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is in aid of fathers, brothers and sons who have been or will be affected by Prostate Cancer. It’s the biggest killer of men.

The ride is to raise funds and awareness. As it is so prevalent (more men die of prostate cancer every year than women do of breast cancer (definitely NOT a competition but not nearly as well publicised)) we need to do something about this. Finding a cure but also helping to fund care is the main reason for the ride.

Secondly, but no less important is men’s mental health awareness. 1 man kills himself every minute across the world. THIS MUST STOP.

Men need to realise that there is always someone to help and to talk to. This is all part of the awareness.

I hope that I have done some small part in raising more awareness with this video.

Thank you to all those who sponsored us and helped us to raise the much needed cash!

Thank you very much for watching.

Wasn't able to do the ride this year myself as Covid=Redundancy=Need to sell T120 to bolster finances.
Wonder if my ex-army MT350 will qualify as a suitable ride next year?
