I have signed up to the 2022 Distinguished Gentlemans Ride in London, a motorbiking event for a good cause. The Distinguished Gentlemans Ride is a motorcycle event and group ride held for charity, to raise money for mens mental health and prostate cancer.
Classic and vintage motorcycle riders meet up and go for a ride out together, one rule is to dress like a gentleman and dapper! Having suffered from mental health problems myself, I want to try and raise money for mens mental health and prostate cancer.
Motorbikes have been so good for my own mental health, I feel that raising money for charity by riding my motorbike is a great way to support a good cause. The motorbiking community is so strong, if we all come together we can help each other out.

RedAng, well done on signing up for the DGR in London. I'll be riding the DGR in San Diego California on the 22nd of May. Hoping to have my 78 Honda CB750 roadworthy and legal for the ride by then but if not I'll be riding my 2002 Harley Road King Shriner Edition (commemorating the 343 firefighters that died in the twin towers on 9/11). Just wanted to say that your channel and your talks about your own mental health challenges helped me get through a period over the last 9 months where i was crippled with depression and anxiety caused by extreme stress at work. Like you I'm doing much better and feel I now have the tools needed to help me manage it and have a life again. Keep on doing what you're doing, you're helping way more than you know.

Next time i get back home to the UK i need to make a visit to the Bike Shed, looks like a very cool place! Take care mate and keep the sticky side down!!

Sorry you've not been feeling so good recently. Remember, this too shall pass. If it doesn't want to, whack up the meds for a bit, no shame in that.
Just been through a very traumatic move and even getting up in the morning took a lot of concentration. Thankfully however my agoraphobia is much less here and am starting to get my equilibrium back.
Hope the clouds lift for you soon. Much love.

    Love the jacket.

I was intending to ride the London DGR this year and had pre registered. Unfortunately I was knocked off my bike by a car last month so I don't think it's going to be possible this year with a broken leg and no bike. Sad face 😞

Hi Angus! Thanks for another great video. Sorry to hear you've had a rough time recently. I'm a fellow Speedy rider from Mid Sussex. An unusual suggestion perhaps – but if you ever fancied a ride out and a coffee to talk – I would welcome that. All the best to you, and thanks for the excellent content! Mike
