and DONATE!!

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is in aid of fathers, brothers and sons who have been or will be affected by Prostate Cancer. It’s the biggest killer of men.

The ride is to raise funds and awareness. As it is so prevalent (more men die of prostate cancer every year than women do of breast cancer (definitely NOT a competition but not nearly as well publicised)) we need to do something about this. Finding a cure but also helping to fund care is the main reason for the ride.

Secondly, but no less important is men’s mental health awareness. 1 man kills himself every minute across the world. THIS MUST STOP.

Men need to realise that there is always someone to help and to talk to. This is all part of the awareness.

Even if you do not feel that you might not be in a position to donate, please spend a little time tomorrow or at the weekend chatting to friends, family and colleagues about these causes and what can be done… All we need is for greater awareness and maybe more lives can be saved or prolonged.

All of the proceeds that I get from Adverts in October will go towards the DGR.

Many thank for watching…

Thanks fellas! About 5 years ago I heard those dreaded words from my doctor, but thankfully we had been following the testing process for a few years and I'm here today to tell the tale. Nobody wants to hear it but better to hear it early than too late. Still riding and racing, life is good!
