Alot of people with mental health problems will look all happy on the outside and yet internally they ain't. Like you said people put on a mask. It really is a hard battle. As you know I suffer with anxiety and depression. It really is hard to explain to someone how it effects you. Great video 👍🏼👍🏼

Great video buddy, fantastic day we have to do this more often

Glad to see you made light of the wait for others to arrive, a time in itself when frustrations could so easily have surmounted. This very video combined with the aftermath of a shit day at work, made me realise that issues I thought I didn't have, I definitely do have. You see my bad day was brought about mostly because of the absence of two others, both of whom have stress anxiety and mental health issues. Having to cover their absence as well as cope with my own work load, resulted in stress anxiety and anger within myself.

One of them is currently sunning himself in Spain celebrating his 30th wedding anniversary, annual leave time he will get back along with other annual leave due during his four month absence because he was ill during this period. For the both of them it's the same story year in year out, to the point that now having to be at work leads to the next episode. Both of their absences is having a similar effect on many others, yet if we complain about it we are the ones in the wrong.

I personally am no longer prepared to let anger which should be directed at them, be brought home so that it effects my family. Neither can I continue to carry their load and bite my tongue rather than let my anger and frustrations be directed at those who deserve it. Management also have a huge part to play in all of this by pussy footing around these people whilst being heavy handed with those genuinely ill. I'm not saying mental health isn't a serious health problem, in today's world it's an issue for all of us. However if it prevents you from functioning at work, perhaps it's time for a break, giving your colleagues a break into the bargain.

I've just used the MHM link to sign up for the mental health first aider. I know there are a few free courses, but I think I would rather do a proper, paid one to get the best experience I can. If there are any ride outs near me in Devon, I will definitely be trying to turn up

Brilliant episode, loved it! I'm so glad that there's support for bikers with MH issues and you bigged up the work of MHM perfectly. I'm also amazed you made it there so early – and sounded so cheerful – after what was a 'nearly all nighter'😃😂🤣
