to me , this guy checks all the boxes for fighter pilot. I like how he doesn't give a fuck what it is, but this is what I got how can I get an advantage . I hope he sees this , but I bet flying commercial , subconsciously monitoring his shit , he's off in law law land and the thought has crossed his mind …. if a mig or something was here trying to fuck up my day, how could I take it out with this 777 ? he could probably do it on some unsuspecting folks. probably would never happen again though.the other thing that stands out to be about this guys is , he doesn't fly anymore. it makes sense , if not for pay and I'm not able to go balls out on somebody elses gas, what is the point ? google earth you can see the same shit.

I really appreciate the fact you've interviewed so many F-14 aircrew and have a lot of episodes dedicated to the F-14

I want to thank Okie for such an awesome Q&A session and so much good info on BFM in the F-14. I really enjoyed it. I spent Sunday replaying the same 40 minutes or so over and over.

It like listening to your dad tell war stories, if you dad was the coolest human being ever.

The host whispering in the background was annoying as shit. I know it wasnt done in malicious way but it was annoying as shit.

Pretty sure the Typhoon never had Hornet engines. Before the EJ engine was ready they used Tornado engines.

You had a choice to fly F-14s or attack aircraft…you’re the pussy. And my dad was a test pilot he didnt look at rulers he flew the first flight on 737 700. And did tail drags in the777 in Antarctica .

I genuinely enjoyed this Q&A session. I refer back to this when I have questions about BFM/ACM/DACT in the DCS F14. @aircrew interview, one topic I haven't heard discussed very much on Aircrew Interview podcast eps available on YT which I'd like to hear SME's cover-honestly I'd like to hear them beat the topic to death as much as ethically/legally possible-is 2v2 and 4v4 BFM/ACM/DACT tactics. Seems the SME's interviewed get quite a few questions regarding 1v1 BFM, but not so much 2v2 or 4v4 BFM. I'd like to know as much as I can about multiship BFM/ACM/DACT because I'm especially trash at it in DCS and every other preceding flight sim I've ever played. Mainly though, coordinating with (a) teammate(s) while simultaneously trying not to kill them is harder, but most importantly the more dudes trying to kill you in a dynamic WVR combat environment like you'd expect in a BFM/ACM engagement, the harder and more complicated your life is compared to just a regular ol' 1v1 high aspect guns only BFM set.
