It seems what started with a car, tent, bag and stove has turned into a little bit of an "arms race". I began in the early 80's navigating the Alcan in a Datsun 310 sedan, not once but three times. Fast forward 30 years and it has gotten crazy. I love it. Gear is cool but, getting out there is cooler. Just go!
