Clint, first thank you for the DIY videos that you make. Your water pump and thermostat video is especially helpful at this moment. I started the job and now am waiting for a replacement bearing on one of the pulleys to button it all up. Also, have your lightsavers-great product. Markski did my tune a few years ago. Back then, I had to send in my ECU. We spoke on the phone for almost an hour beforehand. Great guy. He listened to what I wanted, told me what was possible. In making my decision to go with him, it was a no brainer. He knows his stuff and again….HE LISTENS. That was not my experience with other companies I communicated with. Either they had no idea and were software salespeople or they were more interested in upselling-having me dump my equipment in favor of their's. Again, Markski is the way to go if you have a 996TT. I will throw this out there as well, even if it is slighly off topic-regarding aircooled 911's. Steve Wong had the same type of communication when I bought his chip years and years ago. Knowledge and listening to what the customer is thinking.
Hi Clint I have a question regarding clutch on your car, do you have original clutch with this tune? how is holding with this tune?
Great review Clint! I switched from GIAC to Markski's tune. Markski's seems more smooth.
I bought my 996 Turbo last year, and it came with a previous tune. How do I know "which" tune the car has? Silly question, sorry!
Love the shot of you next to the Koenig at DeutcheSpritz! Still watching…
dang! got a cobb last year, but now after seeing this, i think i want one!
What cameras are you using in the car, 2 of them and how do you switch one from the other?
Haha, I loved seeing the reactions, those were genuine for sure! An amazing car you have there and apparently an amazing wife too!
I bought a 2005 996 Turbo S this summer with just 60,000 km on it.Love the car and I was happy with the power. I saw this video yesterday and I contacted Markski right away and I’m getting his tune for my car with a projected 70 Hp increase with no hardware changes. I’m just at the beginning of this journey but Markski has been very helpful and quick to respond to my queries. I’ve since watched many of your videos and I find them to be very insightful and well produced. Thank you for your love of this amazing car and for your sharing of your knowledge!
