I struggled with addiction for almost 10 years. I have been in and out of jail/prison for years. I now have my Bachelor’s degree in criminal program support services. πŸ“š I hope to use my experience in the system and my degree to help others better understand addiction and our prison system. This story is based on my own personal opinion and experiences.

    I agree with this.
The only thing – if they’re a genuinely Evil person fuck them.

A corrupt jail in Atlanta? You don't say

If convicts were concerned about missing family time, they wouldn't have gone to jail. Prison is supposed to be punishment, not a place for them to enjoy themselves. I went to jail, the third time was the last and its been over 10 years and I'll never go back.

I had a friend in state prison. So many guards were horribly dirty & this particular prison was on "lockdown" quite a lot. The guards would laugh about all the overtime they made during lock-in. One guard showed off his new boat, trailer & brand new truck he bought from a very lengthy lock down. πŸ”

I wish prisons would give more privileges. It would make a difference. Each inmate should be able to look forward to something in their life. I wonder how many loopholes that the corrupted officers have found and also taken. Why should inmates be constantly abused and scarred for a terrible mistake? No human should be treated this badly. If u have nothing to look forward to then it is like why even care what happens to your own body since there is no hope

It would help if you had information from an actual CO & prison counselor. It's not all greed. πŸ˜‰

Also, the tobacco isn't about control.

SOP says a cell phone is an "escape device". 5 years in Georgia for having a cell phone as an inmate.

Did you just give up in your left eye brow after exerting all your energy in the right one or did you have a 3 year old do the left one? Get that shit fixed.
