   Battery is dead. If you want e-bike, be prepare to replace battery, which can cost half price of the bike.

   I think the only electric bike company I’d trust as of now is Zero. There’s another one I believe out of Europe that seems promising. I can’t remember who though. It was mentioned in a podcast I watched a couple weeks ago. I definitely suggest the 21+ MT-09 because I love mine. I can’t speak on how it compares to the previous generation because I never rode one. I always wanted one but at 280+ I wasn’t risking my life with that suspension. I don’t even have the SP and I’m 1000% confident in this new design. Also not sure if the power was always distributed in this way. But it feels amazing. I wouldn’t mind an exhaust for the look. But overall sound and feel once it’s broken in is awesome! I take it to full lean in standard peg height position every time I ride it. I have zero concerns about this bikes ability to have fun carving corners. Maybe not great for a track, but for the street I don’t think there’s much better besides it’s best rival in the 890 Duke.

   Probably need to equalize your battery more often but not letting it hit zero I manage a warehouse that use Battery operated forklifts 24/7 so a although it's not a forklift battery the concept is the same. Our lifts suck at holding charges unless we equalize the battery weekly which takes 8 hours uninterrupted

   Too bad. Buy direct frim Asia and you can get a stallion for a bargain or an overpriced POS. No recourse likely though. Maybe take it to a battery shop that services golf carts and utility vehicles. They should have the meters to test the packs and determine if some cells died inside.

   EVs probably should never drop below 20%, and many advise not hot charging them above 80%. Therefore I always take the reported range or hours and cut it in half. If the Li cells go all the way to zero, many won't charge again.

   Tesla and most cars will lie to you. Tell you you are at zero and cut the power, but in reality your battery may still have over 10%. Cheap China bikes probably won't protect you like that. They'll go to real zero.

   Hope it lives.

   Yeah buy the MT. Best buy right now for what you get. Best dependability reports too. It is all the bike you need for street and light gravel roads. Put the knobbies back on the 450 and start thrashing it in the rough trails.

   I wouldn't trust that Electric BMX far off the property. It'll strand you. Fun at home though.
