And now a study from the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behaviour, at the University of California, Los Angeles, has proven that riding is, in fact, very good for your mental health. –

100% agree my bare minimum on the bike is riding the 40 mile round trip every Wednesday to visit my club for meetings or just our open night and its like therapy to me its the time i sort my thoughts out.

Agreed, how many motorcycles do you see at a therapist office?👍👍

Absolutely right I feel like shit at times but as little as 10 mins on the Guv'nor and it sorts me out a treat. I also use to do extreme sports and the same can be said for that so basically it's anything in my opinion that makes your mind concentrate on one particular activity and it can't afford to wonder off otherwise there's consequences. Don't dwell on things just go ride it' really is a great way to reset your mind

Just had the worst week of my life. Another old friend gone. another incurable and shit storm at work. Took the bike out and raged it for 150 miles. Now feel better.

Couldn’t agree more – nothing better for the mind, body or soul than a good ride.

On my bike I mean, get your head out of the gutter! 🤣

I ride all year. got my first bike at 16 and now 26 and I still get the same feeling getting on a bike now as when I was 16. one or two weeks ago I rode to work -5 and my hands were freezing but still got the thrill of the curves and whatever! as long as there is no road ice I'm happy.
