Ypu are 100% correct. I don't call my bikes my therapists for nothing! Also the 2 downvotes you got are probably from non riders lol.
👍🏻🏍
I have a form of PTSD and other mental health issues. I find riding my bike is the only way and place I can switch my mind of, no stress no otherthinking no panic attacks. Even when I came of at 70+mph I was mentally at peace very strange experience, but it work for me that's what's important
Dibs like what you touched on . I spent 10 years in the Royal Marines commandos did various operational tours of duty , joined the London fire brigade and have been in for 20 years . Seen loads of fucked up shit . Haven't realised till recently that I have PTSD the only thing that has helped me is jumping on my bike and riding 👍
Dibs like what you have touched on . I spent 10 years in the Royal Marines commandos did various operational tours of duty, then I joined the London Fire brigade and have served 20years and seen loads of fucked up shit . I have only recently discovered I have PTSD and find the only thing that has kept me sane is jumping on my bike and riding and also being in my MC
Hi dibber , I love watching your videos they are great and highly informative for me 🙂 as someone who suffers from severe depression and anxiety , I find what you said fantastic , I am a fellow biker and have been in a MCC club ( which I am now no longer apart of , let's just say I left on bad terms. ) So I'm now a neatral rider and that's the way I am going to stay , I love riding my bike eveytime I am feeling down , it's so much better than the pills that I have to take everyday to keep me at bay so to speak, when I'm riding my bike I just love to go out on the winding roads when it's just me and the bike I feel wanted and special , .
Just wanted to say a big massive thank you to you personally for all the amazing videos that you do , everyone I have watched about clubs. Rules , patches , details , politics etc has been a blessing for me , learned alot from you .
Keep up the great videos and I hope sometime soon when I'm riding to bumb into you and have a good chat .
Take care ,stay safe and I'll catch you another day another way <- your motto 🙂
Take care
Totally agree ! I also ride horses which has the same effect . As life sufferer, I have always been drawn more to bikes than cars . I am lucky enough to live on Corfu and our extended summers means lots of bike riding time and being surrounded by panoramic views just makes it even more exhilarating ! Motorcycles and dogs are the best antidepressants ever 👍
I dont know about physically but 100% great for the mental health I'm only back on two wheels after a long absence and I have/do suffer with anxiety and depression etc and all I can say is I feel a he'll of a lot better even in the cold weather I have to say I love it always brings a smile to my face. Peace.
Completely agree, the only things in life that are guaranteed to sort out my mind are exercise or a ride on my bike. It's the same effect afterwards for me.
