The mental health benefits to motorcycles are many and to those of us lucky enough to be able to engage in such an expensive interest, it is a fantastic way to rid your mind of all the everyday nonsense, at least for a little while.

You should try riding out to Greenvale. That's a really nice road; no traffic. Watch out for the Emu's though.

Thanks Paddy, I enjoyed your candour and humour. You seem like a guy that knows not to take everything and everyone too seriously including yourself. I always get a laugh out of your commentary 🤣 Keep up the good work!
The same theory applies to me in relation to mindfulness and boating/fishing. I just need to get it wet… the boat, that is 😁
thanks paddy i suffer mental health
every word you spoke made sence
but i sold my harley because my body cant handle riding any more
and that does not help my mental health
so im building a small house boat to do trips down the murray river
hope that helps lol ride safe
Thanks for the insight. I guess I do the same but never gave it much thought. I like the way you presented a tough topic with you sense of humour and honesty. Keep up the great videos. Thanks.
I recently stopped watching the news and current affairs crap on tv, I feel so much better without it, I love riding the bikes and mountain climbing and going for walks with the dog, I listen to music now and only watch stuff on youtube that interests me or is good craic, I'm a history nut and I read books all the time.
I had panic attacks years ago but I was smoking a lot of dope around that time, drank a hell of a lot too for years and years, drink never really bothered me too much anyway.
#very frightening thing those panic attacks. back then there was no internet so I had to figure out myself what was wrong with me.
Nowadays I'm more settled and enjoying life, the bike is brilliant and I'd love to head off and tour the world by bike, if I can find the cash.
is focussing on a youtube video mindfulness?
I'd very much struggle if I didn't have motorcycles in my life. (am guessing the battery/memory card ran out at the end?)
You're far more qualified than me to talk about the mental health benefits or otherwise. I would say that the act, and the associated conentration requirements, of riding certainly give me a way to switch off everything else for a while. I'm definitely happier and calmer after a good ride.
