    Hopefully he didn’t take his angst and trauma out on his wife, kids or whoever was around him… Instead of being man enough to face the fact that he probably needed counseling and that may have changed the trajectory of his career… But it’s OK what he wanted was more important. Better to hide your trauma and take it out on your family and friends then lose your career. NOT

    Phoebe Smith. Your words may have validity, but your "happy talk" seems to lend itself to being unduly judgemental without having all the facts of understanding his family life and his career life before during and after being a pow. Until you , or I for that matter, walk in his shoes, particularly after being a pow, we should not judge or condemn, outright, from the comfort and safety of our arm chairs. Just my humble thoughts.
