I wish I could have seen this video yesterday I ended up in the er for another attempt and I am so sad I get angry and everything is so stressful my mom is going to prison or rehab and my family looks down on me because of my mom and my dad killed himself a year and a half ago I'm just tired of everything going bad I can't get a bike because I'm unmotivated to get a job
only an 18 year old here but I noticed you said you're very critical of yourself and as much as I feel that and find it easy to be too hard on myself the simple truth is you HAVE to be in a forgiving, loving relationship with yourself because frankly youre never gonna be quite as perfect as you'd like to be and youre always gonna fuck up and wonder why you did certain things every once in a while and if you allow yourself to stay disappointed and upset with yourself for your shortcomings theres just no possible way you're gonna feel good- it seems to me you werent in a position where you could help others as much and be who you wanted and perhaps a part of you feels responsible for that even if it isnt the case- plus having certain friends and family you trusted not treat you well can sometimes make the self critical part of you think maybe theyre right to not like you and reinforce any negative views of yourself you might have- so what really helped me when I was at my lowest was deciding that I was gonna forgive those around me and forgive myself and just in general be as kind to myself and others as possible, much love dank 💙
