Mental health in our country is so stigmatized that people would rather take their own life then come out and speak about it. If it was for my wife and son I would have swallowed a bullet years ago. Apparently holding your buddy’s skull together so his brain doesn’t come out leaves a negative, lasting impression. Along with some beatings by my old man is a recipe for a life of depression, self hatred and self inflicted abuse. I never meet the bottom of a bottle or end of a case I didn’t like.
Good news is a sun rise is a reset bro. Keep pushing, you got a fam that loves you.
Thanks for sharing…I have been dealing with mental depression and life baggage all my life. I've become an onion with so many layers buried as it's easier to bury the feelings vs dealing with them. Numerous Broken relationships as I am unable to breakdown my walls and share my feelings haunt me. As a man with depression being able to share my hurt, and pain is my biggest daily challenge. Stay strong
