Ok, I have been reading all of the comments below and I have noticed a few people who have claimed that disposal of lithium ion batteries and shifting the burden of power generation to the electric grid causes more pollution. While those two statements may be entirely true, you have to look at the big picture. 12 frickin' bucks to go 1200 plus miles! If I took my BMW M8 competition on that trip, I would have spent enough in fuel to have purchased a gas station! And how often do you have to change that battery??? Once every 10 years? Oh boohoo! And what about noise pollution??? I live next to a street with all kinds of traffic and I WISH I had nothing but exotic cars driving by, but no! I have a bunch of kids that drive by with disgusting Honda civics with fart can exhausts who think that they are sooooo cool. Could you imagine if all that traffic turned into electric cars? Priceless! And by the time you people finish crying about not being able to recycle the battery, they will come up with a solution. Great review Meg!!!

Not it interests you but the Tesla P100D has also 4 doors, same speeds and has a charging network (for free!) around the globe. A road trip will cost even less then $8,-
In short: when the Porsche runs out of juice, you have to stop over. The Tesla not, you can charge it for free in 40min. As you didn't drove one yet, try it. Think you will prefer it over the porsche as it has more space to store, has cupholders and big glovebox for half the money.
Note: you will have to keep (any) Ferrari in the garage to keep Dan happy.
