Sure, the bright pink Fiat Multipla got us to Devon and back, but only just. I’m just not sure I have the motivation or desire to try and bring this one back from the brink. Anyone else fancy it?

I'll not miss it, Ian. It's ugly, dodgy and silly.
I used to have a VP Metro with a similar problem. Became good at driving long distances whist synchronising engine revs to change gear. Bleeding that system was supposed to be a two man job. But it can be done on your own. Use a longer bleed pipe, lay it up the side of the windscreen (Blu Tak or tape is your friend.) and then pump the pedal whilst watching the bubbles in the pipe. The slave cylinder was the problem, and I couldn't source a replacement. So I used to bleed it every week, before driving, keeping the spotlessly clean Dot 4 for topping up. That job was done at least 50 tines until the rust maggots won the battle with the bodywork and the engine started to lose too much of its magic white smoke.
Thanks for the video. ππ
Wow! In that paint scheme the Fiat Multipla looks even more like an angry boil on a pensioner's wrinkly backside than usual. There's even green puss inside!
Remove any parts that might prove useful to more worthy vehicles and have it crushed! As long as it doesn't arise Christine-like from it's thoroughly deserved demise that will be a necessary job well done! (Do please post a video of it getting crushed with suitably upbeat music.)
After coming back to watch this I was very bored I nearly threw up at the car and its interior jeeeez why does he buy such crap cars does it on purpose to make money can see why I've unsubscribed as have many
What a great videoβ¦.this is what life is, keep up the great work!
Get rid of that no entertainment value to it never watch the videos when they feature this monstrosity
It all adds up to a compelling video though.ππ€
Would you consider an Alfa Romeo 156 with the JTD engine, Ian? Gorgeous car, great engine and enough dodgy electrics (maybe) to keep it interesting. Just a thought.
if the slave cylinder is gone the master won't be far behind. Black fluid is the first sign of a problem.
Previous owner is my boss, he actually bid Β£1000 on it when he was drunk abroad, realised he'd won it and collected it once back in the country. The wrap alone was Β£2000 apparently so he saw that as a win haha. Everyone hated it but he loved it, people take pictures and videos everywhere you go, they even had people knocking on the house asking to take pictures of it!! π I kinda miss seeing it on the driveway but also not at the same time π only just found these videos of it and interesting to see where the cars been, bit gutted to see it like this really, dont think he'd spent a penny on it π
A well designed body but high maintenance – just like Sophia Loren.
