Arco tells it like is, living with Schizophrenia. He is out and about after dropping the kids off at school. sharing with you all some beauty of the north woods as he struggles with his mental illness. Little American Falls on the Big Fork River is gorgeous, and just what Arco needed to help clear his head. A hike with his dog Lily and some time in the woods top off a tough morning. Arco tells a few of the struggles of a daily life with Schizophrenia. A couple of mental health war stories, describing what its like to experience paranoia, anxiety, and fear. Men’s mental health is a real thing, some of the strongest men you know battle day to day with issues, and you may never know. Make sure that if someone opens up to you about their mental health, that you listen, ask how you can help, don’t assume they need help but offer it, they may not take your help but they will know that you are there for them. Check up on people. Keep their confidences. It is their story to tell, let them tell it.
Let’s reduce the stigma of mental health.

Life is so fast pace, people forget to stop and thank God for His creation.
I enjoyed coming along with you on your journey through the woods and your honesty. Thanks

    Love and respect from Norway.
Life is not always easy, but a walk in the woods can clear the head and the thoughts.

Hello brother Arco, I have to say this is a very important video for you and all of us good friends of yours'. I had no idea you had these issues. You do a good job of hiding them. I have to say you don't have to feel sorry for talking it out to us. We are here because we are your' buddies. You are the greatest and don't you forget it.

Your friend and brother from Russia, Andrey.

You are a great man. Respect! P.S.. the wifey has it also. It took 2 years to get the meds to the right balance. Too much and she would zone out. Patience and you’ll find the right balance. She’s been in a good place for awhile.

This was not what I expected, but thanks for giving me a really good start to this day! I´m a psychiatric nurse, start working with people who suffers from mental health problems 1977 so I have met a lot of people since then with all kinds of problems. To give a person hope is more or less crucial when you meet someone who is down on their knees and just looking for a way to die, if I can give them an example from life showing someone who lives a decent life helps a lot those times. And today you gave me a very good example! It takes a tough psyche and a strong heart to share what you just did, be proud of your self for doing this! I hope my thoughts and feelings get through when I write in English though Swedish is my language and I have to use google to help me with some expressions. Minnesota looks a lot like the parts of Sweden were I´m living by the way, I can understand your feelings out in the woods although I prefer to let my Jeep take me out there. Take care!

I can't imagine dealing with that on the daily. We all are here for you. By the way you have taught me tons about metal work. Now you have also taught me how to somewhat understand how you deal with these issues. Thank you buddy.

Thanks ARCO. Takes balls to be that honest. I love your channel , lots of great tips. Where I live in Western Australia our place is in the Darling Range ,a short walk and there are kangaroos and the occasional emu. Being out in the bush has a very calming effect (especially when you don't have to look out for bears and wolves). Stay strong brother , love your work. Keep on hammering.
