Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2022 is on, and I’m joining the Wollongong NSW ride again this year.

Donate to my DGR Donation Page here:

On Sunday the 22nd of May 2022, I’m riding in The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I’m asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.

I can’t say that I agree with the statement…..”I don’t think you can fully recover form a Mental illness” and why this is so is because in the correct hands people do fully recover as I bear witness to this in my profession on a regular instance. It is however very dependent on the correct diagnosis followed by the correct remedy for the discovery, for as unless one has a diagnosis of a physical kind of brain damage or a chemical imbalance by any means one is dealing with types of cognitive distortions and these distortions can be reversed permanently indeed. Is it an easy task? Generally not; As the core to the distortions in someone and the off shoots that develop as well over time can make it difficult to wind back the issues to re-build from however quite far from a permanent condition. And if one feels that a non full recovery is the outcome after treatment then it raises the question to the quality of the clinician that had dealt with the case for this type of residue thinking to be present.
