Policing for profit fits nicely. The hospital got paid to house and feed the guy. They also probably got a kick back from the pharmaceutical company to use the meds. The police officer gets a pat on back.

Instead of trying to prove who you are not. The state, city, county should have to prove who you are. Before charging and being placed in jail. It sounds like the warrant was not that big of deal. I am a firm believer that some warrants should be tossed out after so many years.
