Thank you for this video. It's the first video that really hit why I want to live in a van because I live in Auckland and rents are very high, buying houses in areas that I want to live in are out of reach that I think van life is how I think I can live and do what I want to do. Thank you thank you.

My wife and I sat all the way through this, nodding in agreement (stiff necks now lol). Our hearts ache for our children's generation, we were lucky, just, and appreciate what we have, and have worked for. We totally applaude any one taking an alternative route through life.

I agree 100% with everything you said!!! Well said!! Capitalism sucks the life out of you to the point where you have no energy or motivation to do the things you want to do! Drowning in debt and bills! It's a struggle to go to work every day and just be another cog in a wheel…
Did you just complain that you couldn't live on a secluded beach and go surfing on the cheap? You do understand the laws of supply and demand right? Lots of people want to do these things, but if everyone did it nobody could. Have you ever been to a popular vacation spot during peak? Is it fun with all those people? If you want the perfect experience you have to pay for it. And if you want more housing, get the government out of the way. Nobody wants to build a butch of housing and make no money on it. If you keep profits low, you decrease the will to make it. It becomes a waste of time and energy.
