I would suggest having a roadside kit, extra layers of warm clothes, nonperishable food, and some bottles of water in case you get stuck, even if you have 4 wheel drive or AWD. candles would also be good because the heat from just one candle could keep you alive, as long as it is not a tea light. I would suggest a medium to large-sized candle. Oh, and don't forget a lighter to light the candle.
