    My opinion: once the gun is secured in a proper shoulder holster that is fitted for that gun, then it becomes an inert object. I carry my PPK in a shoulder holster and I actually need to have it uncocked for the strap to close, so that is another added layer of safety (i can cock the hammer in the process of drawing so it's still quick.)

    im definitely leaning to carry at the waist either inside or out. my main concern is safety in the event of a crash. in this video squid tips placed the weapon directly behind him but an impact from that weapon to his tail bone/lower spine could leave you paralyzed. really not sure what position would make for the best location. i like the idea of the 4 o clock position for right hand shooters but a hard impact there would push the weapon into the hip bone and likey break, or at least fracture it.
