On this round of beers in the shed we’re talking about the impact of COVID on us 4WDers!

We talk about some of the crowded campsites we’ve been seeing and how to avoid them, campsites you can’t even get a booking for, and the dreaded COVID tax on 4WD prices! Rigs like Toyota Hiluxs and Nissan Patrols and getting expensive, so we ask whether or not its worth looking at different 4WDs like Mitsubishi Pajeros and the Isuzu MUX.

As usual we’ve got epic builds in rig of the week, hilarious 4WD fails and we go head to head on the front lockers vs rear lockers topic!

What does everyone think about 4wd247 building their own version of "swampy" from all4adventure?

I've just got a bargain myself. Just got a fully worked TD42t blacktop with full running gear for 13k. Standard blacktop td42T can go north off 14k just for a good engine. No mods

So excited to see the Zook in action. Got a 98' Samurai that's been a wonderful introduction to 4wd. Has there ever been a trip across the Tasman Sea on the cards? Seeing you tackle some of Aotearoa would be glorious.

Question: will you ever or in the future have snatch clothing for dogs?

How to avoid covid tax? Buy NEW. We need more cars on the road to put pressure on used prices that are bullshit.

I think you need to treat beers in the shed like a teenage visit to a night club and get toasty before taping. You’re talking too much to get warm and fuzzy during the episode and you both seem a bit tense πŸ˜‰
