What about the pollution it takes to make batteries and the landfill to despose of the batteries? Hmmm
I just want to give you my perspective and information as a food for though kinda thing. I started riding on a Ninja 600 and have a CBR as well, dont get me wrong, they are both so much fun and fast bikes, but electric is totally different. My Energica Ego (the brand that supplies MotoE bikes) is the most fun I have ever had on a motorcycle. It is so much easier to commute with no clutch, gears, or anything like that. They are a tad pricey as a cheap energica is about $10000. Despite that, I took the dive and now proudly own one. Electrics are a frickin blast to drive, the charging is truely amazing, and its an experience like no other. I highly recommend you test drive an electric motorcycle before you just dismiss them. They are cleaner than a gas bike even if you get your energy from the dirtiest provider possible, but the fun factor is not even close to diluted on an electric motorcycle. It is also significantly cheaper to maintain than my CBR, and the power is unreal. Its faster than a CBR 600 and anyone can ride it. Truely I believe its the future. Hopefully when the roads clear up more here I can make some videos and give you some more insight on living with an electric.
Electric racing is so unsatisfying. The roar of the engine is half the fun it’s like going from the v10 era of fin racing to the current hybrid nonsense. Sure, the hybrids sound insane compared to a street car but my oh my does the v10 sound mind numbingly awesome! And don’t even get me started on the turbo gates opening…schrschesg words!
I just stumbled upon your channel after seeing it mentioned on another channel and I just want to say I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I follow a lot of moto channels on YT and some are getting a little stale, so yours is a great breath of fresh air. On the topic of electric motorcycles, I feel that the largest hurdle, at least presently, is the range, coupled with the availability of chargers as well as the charge times. Personally, I do a good amount of touring, as well as day long rides. On a tour, some days I'll log up to 600 miles, which usually means 3 fuel stops, which only add 10-20 minutes each stop (depending if I want to stretch my legs or grab a snackcoffee). If I needed to stop and charge a motorcycle every 120 miles, and each charge takes me a minimum of an hour on the fastest charging equipment, then that adds nearly 5 additional hours to my day. That's rough. I think a great solution would be a standardized battery that can be swapped. Like swapping a tank of propane from the local gas station, it would be great if I could drop a depleted battery in a charger and grab a fresh one and keep rocking.
New World Order.. The Carbon Credit Tax is a scheme to Tax Americans $7 Trillion Dollars to fund the United Nations One World Police Force and One World Military …
All New Motorcycles have Catalytic Converters @Lali The big Carbon Foot Print on electric vehicles is mining for the Lithium creates a lot of pollution as the lithhium batteries themselves I was told are non recyclable and a huge toxic waste issue..
Some say that 2021 is the last year to sell the Harley Davidson Live Wire… @Lali
Hello @Lali I know you are very intelligent .. going to College for ???? Phisics or Chemistry or something and I know you work on your own bikes.. but they to say Motorcycles don't have a Catalitc Converter because they are too learge and Heavy is totally wrong .. They all have to have a Catalitic Converter if they burn gasoline.. If they burned Propane or Natural gas maybe not.. Yes they are a bit heavy but they have them.. That's why if you smelled your tail pipe with bike running it would smell like rotten eggs a sulpher smell .. Many aftermarket exahusats also have a Catalyitic Conver only off road only race pipes don't have a Catlyitc Converter..
Take Aphroprovic for example they have at least 4 different model exchaust just for the FZ-07 MT-07

very entertainning
I really really really don't want a electric motorcycle I'll probably give up if needs be.
They've been saying we "only have ten years until its irreversible" for a century.
