Donating every dollar from this video. No Shave November, men's health issues.

No Shave November is a month all about focusing on men’s health, both physical AND mental. Typically speaking over the month of November men are encouraged to grow out their mustaches or beards to help start conversations and raise awareness about men’s issues. Not shaving for an entire month, and donating the money they would typically spend on hair/beard care towards charity.

Well, as bearded guy letting my beard grow for another month honestly isn’t a sacrifice. From well trimmed and stubbled to big bushy beard I’ve done it all so letting an extra inch or so grow just isn’t going to generate conversation or attention. So MY way has been to shave off my beard and start from scratch, bare cheeks! Anyone who knows me knows how much of a step this is and how much I do NOT like how I look without facial hair. This year, now that our channel is starting to make ad revenue I decided to take things one step forward. We’re donating ad revenue to charity, every penny this video makes!

I’m shaving my head. I’m taking all of it down to bare scalp, bare cheeks, bare chin. I’ve never done this in my life and to be very honest with you it’s absolutely terrifying! But, in order to shine a light on the issues I think are important I need to be willing to put myself in an uncomfortable situation and generate buzz. What better way than the buzz of clippers and a razor?

Men. We suck at communication. We suck at admitting sickness. We suck at admitting loneliness. We suck at anything WE think show’s weakness and makes us not look strong and manly. But in behaving that way we often put ourselves at risk, by denying something is wrong physically or mentally we make situations worse. Talk to someone.
